"I was recommended by my wife to Dr. Maryam Talaie due to another dentist in Mobile Alabama advising me to do a crown,she was my second opinion. I am very happy I got one. Once again, this dental office doesn’t disappoint.With each visit, they are helping me smile again. Can’t say enough about how caring the staff is, and how they are taking my dental health seriously. Because of lack of caring from my previous dental office which helped create a lot of problems with my teeth, this office is steadily getting my teeth issues corrected. ❤️
My husband is now a client and I expect one of my daughter’s and her husband to become clients too.

Went to this dental office for a regular cleaning to maintain the deep cleaning procedure done previously. As always, I arrived for my appointment a little ahead of time and, they were ready for me as scheduled. My cleaning was more than expected because they used equipment the I had no experience with, which at the end I’m sure helped make my mouth feel as amazing as it did. The cleaning was very comfortable. Jarvin who did my cleaning took time to review the progress of my gums, this overall was a great experience.

I’ve had ongoing services at this dental office (trying to make many dental wrongs right from the previous dental office’s lack of attention/treatment), and I can honesty say I am finally able to chew comfortably. I trust my family with this dental office."

I recently became a patient of Dr. Talaie/Century Smile. I came in for a routine check up and cleaning after neglecting my teeth for a long time. Dr. Talaie and her staff took such a great care of me. Jarvin, the hygienist, made the deep cleaning, a tolerable process, even managed to have some laughter. I also had a wisdom tooth extraction and Dr. Rafiee, the periodontist, was amazing. Upon coming home after the extraction, I had some bleeding, and Dr. Rafiee stayed on the phone with me to make sure I was ok, and even offered emergency services if I needed, and it was already 9pm. Century Smile, they defintely go above and beyond. Thank you for making me not hate dentist visits! Dr. Talaie, I will be seeing you soon for my fillings and teeth whitening. 😉

I visited Century Smile while on my trip from Australia. I was referred to Dr. Talaie by a friend, who's also their patient. Had the best experience at this dentist office over all! As soon as I stepped into the office I had a warm welcoming from the receptionist Janine. She made sure I was checked in properly and had everything verified before my appointment. She never let her smile die from her face. Then once I was seated, Dr. Talaie was very sweet and informative. Always made sure I was comfortable during my visit. Century Smile is THE BEST. I went to a terrible dentist before I went to Century Smile so I was very cautious. They got me in quickly, we made an awesome dental plan for my teeth. Mike was so helpful in explaining my insurance and puzzling together what treatment plan would be best as we went along. The other two ladies are the office are so so nice and professional and you can tell they are constantly willing to help. Dr. Talaie is a star. She’s very comforting and willing to explain and put in the time for what is needed. Jarvin handled the deep cleaning/periodontal work and he’s great! Dr. Talaie and the rest of the staff makes you feel comfortable immediately. They explain everything in layman's terms to make it easy to understand, and walk you through which treatment options will be most efficient.

I hate the dentist. I am a grown man and I don't think anything scares me more. Needless to say it has been a few years since I have been. However, the dentists at Century smile made going to the dentist as "pain free" as it could be. They were careful and thorough while not being pushy or trying to upsell me. I was there for almost 3 hours (as I said, it had been a while) and they did everything they could (offering me headphones and more novocaine than a horse) to make it go by as quickly as it could.
I left feeling like I had a new set of teeth and actually wanting to do the upkeep to make each subsequent (and more frequent) appointment as easy as possible.
For a scaredy cat like me, if you gotta go to the dentist, this is the place.
Also, they worked with my insurance to make the process relatively pain free on my wallet as well.

Came in yesterday for wisdom teeth extraction. I've been experiencing a lot of jaw pain and couldn't chew so I wanted it to be ASAP.

Made an appointment on Wednesday and came in Thursday and got my wisdom teeth extracted. Took me in right right at the time of my appointment so there wasn't any lag.

I did probably too much reading on WebMD but century smile dental did a great job at answering all my questions patiently. Appreciated that a lot. Local anesthesia.

All in all, overall a positive experience here although I couldn't have imagined saying this (I hate going to the dentist)

I just recently moved to LA and have been seeing the same dentist on the east coast since I was a little girl. I needed to schedule a dental consultation to get my wisdom teeth checked out since I was starting to feel some discomfort.

The overall area is super cute right off of Venice Blvd in Culver City. Parking was easy to find and navigate. The office is adorable inside. They offered free water, coffee, juice, etc and great magazines. It's a smaller practice, but I loved that it wasn't in a huge corporate building - made it feel more homey.

Dr. Talaie was so welcoming, honest, caring, and all around professional during my first visit. The wait time was very short (10 minutes) and the MA took my x-rays right away! Being a foreigner in the area, I've never felt more welcome and at home! I'm so glad that I went to Century Smile - I'll be going here for a long time!

This place was recommended to me by a friend. The staff was very professional. They were able to see me right at the scheduled appointment time, which is super important to me. I grew tired of making doctor/dentist appointments and having to sit there sometimes for an hour+ just for someone to see me. This place is not like that, thankfully. The quality of my dental work is good so far. I would recommend this place.

Dr. Talaie was patient and informative on the work that needed to be done since I have not visited a dentist in many years. She took a whole 2 hours along with her assistants to describe my current oral health. Even though I have to get a lot of work done, I would highly, highly recommend going to her. I've been to many dentist in LA and it's been difficult to find one who's happy, friendly, and who cares. Dr Talaie is all that. There's nothing more comforting than to have a kind dentist when you're about to have any kind of dental procedure, because they make you feel safe. The staff is also very friendly and it's always willing to work with you. Great customer service. I have no complaints and would recommend it to all my friends.

This is honestly one of the best offices on the West side of Los Angeles. The staff are so friendly and fun to be around. I've been to many dental offices but this is one of the few where the people are not only friendly but they also really care about their patients and remember their names. I've had a lot of work done there and the receptionist are really wonderful and make you sure that I get appropriate appointment and also make sure that the work I need done and that it doesn't cost an arm and a let, but rather maximize the insurance you have. They're really great people!

I'm really shocked by some of the posts I've seen. I've been Dr. T's patient for 3 years and she has always been very professional. She has yet to make me feel bad about my teeth or my failure to take proper care of them. She explains everything thoroughly and does an amazing job, minus the pain. Yes, NO PAIN!!! I've gone to other dentists who have been sooooo cheap with their novacain that I cried the whole way through my procedures. BUT not Dr. Talaie, she makes sure you're comfortable. I've had a root canal done, crowns and partial crowns, deep cleanings and have always been happy with her work and the work of her staff. Gabby her office manager is a sweetheart and so is her hygienist MarMar. Awesome work, awesome staff! Thx, guys!

I love this dentist. The office is lovely and every member of the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Maryam is honest and will do the best to make sure your dental health is back to tip top shape. Gaby will make sure they do their best to suit your needs and requirements. A pleasant place all around. I will continue to go there. Another big benefit is they also accept HMO insurance.

Dr. Talaie is the best. My teeth are the proof. Caring front office (Gabby is the best) and overall great vibe. They make you feel very welcome and keep you informed of what's going on.

I am 58 years old and I have been going to Dr. T for about one year now. This is the "GREATEST" dentist office I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of dentist in my 58 years. I am in "shock" over what some of these people have said about Dr. T and her staff. Dr. T is very professionally but she tells you the truth about what is going on with your teeth. If you don't want to hear the "truth" I suggest that you don't go to Dr. T.

When I first saw Dr. T and her staff I had been unemployed for 3 years and I had that gum disease really bad and was in a lot of pain because of it. Her office manager "Gabby" who is absolutely "wonderful" and who cares about every single patient that walks in that office worked with me to make payments so I could have deep scaling done. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I had not found Dr. T and her staff. Gabby goes above and beyond for Dr. T's patience and I'm glad to have her on my side. Trust me she is in no way a neck snapping tattooed finger receptionist. First of all she is the office manager and a damn good one too!

I am now getting ready to do some major dental work with Dr. T and her staff and I could not be happier. I know I am in very good hands. I have had many crappy dentist in the past so I know what a good dentist is and what isn't and Dr. T and her staff are the GREATEST. On top of that I have never been to a dental office where I was offered coffee and water in the lobby like Dr. T has for her patience.

These people with these horrible comments about Dr. T and her staff are very "unhappy" people and are not going to be unhappy wherever they go. How dare you try to ruin someone reputation after all the schooling they have been through and all the work and effort it has taken Dr. T to build her business. Just remember "what goes around comes around" and you will get yours too. These people are such liars. I have never gotten one text message or one phone call about my appointments, and I have had a lot of appointments. I get one email a week before to confirm my appointment and then one email the day before my appointment as a reminder. Unbelievable these people.

All I can say is, Dr. T their is a lot of sick people in this world and unfortunately they found you.

I've been a patient for four plus years. The entire staff is friendly and the office is always clean. Dr. Talaie and Mar Mar are wonderful. I always feel so good when I leave with clean teeth. Also appointment reminders can be sent via text message, which is very convenient.

Have been here several times with excellent results!

The first time I came here it was because I had cracked a tooth all the way to the root while eating a chocolate bar. They had to remove the tooth. It was sad but also funny. Then a year later the same thing happened to the tooth in the same spot on the other side of my mouth, but I came to the office in time, and they were able to save the tooth! It was very exciting for me. That was over a year ago, and the crown that's there now is in beautiful shape.

As far as talking about procedures and pricing, I find them to be more than reasonable. When I got the crown, the receptionist went through every option with me, telling me what I could realistically expect from each one while also considering my budget. I didn't choose the most expensive option, and they gave me a break on the price because I pay out of pocket.

My experiences with the doctor and the rest of the staff since then have always been great. They are friendly and fun to talk to, which makes routine trips to the dentist almost pleasurable 🙂

Also, the office is cute, calming, and welcoming. It even has a Keurig coffee machine. I love those things.

And don't miss the free parking lot right next to the building!

I'm really happy with their service. This lady's are all nice hard working people. All the dental offices that I have gone to always ask you for your dental insurance. They won't take you in if there's no one backing up the the cost. It's called a business not medical. For other people that are there for 3 hrs. that means lay off the sugar.

I have been Dr. Talaei patient for years. I love this location the most. The staffs are friendly, they follow up with you as you desired. I have very sensitive gums and in the past I have been to multiple dentists which they didn't have my interest at heart. Dr. Talaei has the best of her patients at heart. she wants them to have healthy mouth and teeth and they are NOT money making machines for her. She has taken care of my sensitive gums for years and I have the painless experience of my life. She has become our family dentist and she has earned my recommendation.

Dr. Talaie is the most gentle dentist I have been to. When she is doing her injections you can fall sleep. They always email and text you for appointment conformation and are super flexible with your schedule. She is so experienced

I just wanted to update my review. I have since been back for more treatments from Century Smile, and I am still really happy. They haven't tried to up-sell me on anything. I had a root canal and wisdom tooth extraction by Dr. Bina, and I have never been so happy. The last time I had a root canal I was sore for a week and a half and had to go back and ask for some pain meds that were stronger... this time, I swear the didn't even do anything! I am barely sore, even with an extraction. I took some ibuprofen the 1st day, and I am eating normally and in no pain. Minor soreness, thats all. I really don't understand why there are so many negative reviews, because I just can't recommend them enough! I have told all my coworkers how happy I am, and they have all gone and seen them and reported back equally happy results.

I guess some people may not like them, but I think they are wonderful. They always present you with more than one option and they tell you what is, and is not urgent so you don't pay for things that you don't want to.

I go again in a month or so for a crown and a check up, and I am sure it will be just as nice.

Okay so since my last review, which wasn't too long ago, I felt my review should be updated based on recent experiences. I am in the process of making my husband a patient -- he has major health issues, so getting dental help can prove difficult (doctor calls, etc.). The entire staff has gone completely out of their way to help us go through that process and ensure my husband gets the proper, safest dental care. Further, all the ladies there were super friendly, personable, and thorough. They really explained the situation and contacted his doctors. Also, they are helping me figure out a longterm and reasonably priced plan. My husband has a true phobia of dentists, and they even made him feel comfortable. I feel comfortable referring friends and family.

I use to dread going to the dentist until I came to Century Smile and met Dr. Talaie and her wonderful staff! My experience from day one was a breeze.

I have sensitive gums and am usually in a world of discomfort at the dentist but with Dr. Talaie gentle touch I no longer fear my check ups 🙂 The office is fully equipped with state of the art digital x-rays and fancy screens where they can zoom in and you can see what's really going on with your teeth!

I had the same dentist since i was a kid and thats all I know about dentists. I use to avoid and hate going there. Everytime, it was a heavy bill and a whole day of losing work and sitting in the waiting area, till last year that my Dr was out of town and I had to look for a new dentist...After coming to century smile my world change.there prices was almost half of what I was payin and and this time ther was no waiting around.the stuff are super friendly and professional, and the Dr was even nicer.She exam and give me the best edvices and more important of all helped me to quit smoking and i love her for that more than anything.Dr talai is now mine and my family dentist and we are really happy to have her.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I've had a GREAT experience at Century Smile, starting from the first day, when I wandered in without an appointment and they fit me right in. They were much more thorough with x-rays and testing my gums than previous dentists, and I really feel like I'm in good hands. After a meeting with the hygienist, everyone at work thought my teeth looked so white, and I didn't even do whitening! I feel more informed about my teeth and am working on stopping my grinding at night with their help. They are extremely nice ladies who understand that dental stuff is expensive. It feels like they really care. I'm a happy customer!! I will update more after my deep clean and after I get my mouth guard (if I remember 🙂
