About Dr. Mehran Yazdi

Mehran Yazdi, DMD, MPH, is a distinguished endodontist with robust training from prestigious institutions. He earned his D.M.D and an Endodontic Fellowship from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and furthered his education with an Endodontic Residency at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York.

 

Dr. Yazdi also holds an M.P.H. with a focus on Health Education from the University of Florida’s College of Health & Human Performance and a B.S., double majoring in Chemistry and Microbiology & Cell Science. His professional journey has seen him serve in various dental practices across LA County, New York, and Florida, with notable positions as an endodontist at Whittier Dental Specialists Center and the Endodontic Center of Southern California.

 

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Yazdi’s commitment to the field shines through his academic and community contributions. He has been a Courtesy Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s Department of Endodontics. His research endeavors are evident in publications in esteemed journals and presentations at national conferences. Among his many accolades, Dr. Yazdi was honored with the Molar Endodontic Award and the Prosthetic and Restorative Dentistry Award from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Additionally, he dedicated his time as a Crisis Hotline counselor in Gainesville, FL, and as a health educator with the American Red Cross, underlining his passion for community health and education.
